BLÆST is a minimalistic and simple hat design suitable for both men and women, boys and girls. The pattern comes in two sizes to fit both a child, a teen and an adult. You can change the style of the hat by regulating the length of the hat or adding a pom-pom. The hat is worked bottom up using the cable cast on method. This cast on creates an elastic edge perfect for hats.

Sizes: 1 and 2

Gauge: 38 sts x 40 rows in 2x2 Ribbing in the round on size 3.5 mm / US 4 needles = 10 cm/4 inches

Suggested needles: Size 3.5 mm / US 4

Yarn: Approximately 185 (220) meter 200 (235) yards of sport weight wool yarn. You will need extra yarn for the pom-pom.
2 (2) skeins of Chickadee by Quince & Co, (166 m 181 yards / 50g). 2 skeins are enough to make the pom-pom aswell.
