Blue Island
INFO
The inspiration for this shawl came to me as I walked along the coastline, overlooking the ocean. I watched as the waves rolled onto shore where it created small pools of water.
The Blue Island shawl is an easy knit and has NO purls at all!
The stitch pattern is a combination of garter, eyelets and slip stitches to keep you entertained towards the end. Choose 2 colors or more to make your own version.
The shawl is worked flat from tip to tip and knitted on the bias with a built-in edge. Wrap it around your neck once or twice or knot it as a snuggly cowl.
The pattern is fully written out with a schematic and easy-to-read charts for the pattern repeats.
This pattern is great for advanced beginners. Videos are provided for all necessary techniques.
