This pillowcase is knitted in the round. The lace pattern is a 6 stitch, 8 round repeat.
The 6 stitch chart is knitted 20 times per round. The 8 rounds are knitted for a total of 10 times, which means you will be knitting 80 rounds and additional 2 rounds of stockinette stitch.
For larger or smaller pillowcases you can adjust the number of pattern repeats, taking into account that the final number of stitches should be divisible by 12 for symmetry.

15 sts x 21 rows in 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4″)
worked over the pattern, unblocked.

The warm recommendation is to make a swatch with yarn of choice, in order to get the final product of the desired dimensions.

By recalculating the gauge, as suggested in the pattern, you can achieve a fit to a larger or smaller pillow.

This pillowcase is worked in one size, which fits pillow size 40 x 40 cm (15.75×15.75 ″).

The size of the finished piece is 38 x 34.5 cm (15 x 13.5″).
