This is part of my ongoing Felted Knitted Jacket Experiment. In this case, the main body felted perfectly, but the sleeves became too narrow. So I removed them, knitted a border all around the outside edge, and around the armholes to make a vest. Then I cut and sewed the leftover sleeves into a pair of warm-up boots. I did all the calculations for the jacket based on a sewing pattern that called for boiled wool.
