This pattern is for an Octopus Mermaid. The sample pattern details are specifically for a Blue Ring Octopus.

She is approximately 20cm/8” tall “standing” on the tentacles when made with worsted weight yarn and a 2.75mm hook. Note that sport weight yarn and a 1.75mm hook is used for the hands and arms only.

Please note that all details such as the face and tentacle markings are done by freehand needle felting, so no instructions are included for those details.
