Blue Roses
This design was originally published in Crochet Now magazine, Issue 17. The pattern has been tweaked a little, updated, and now uses U.S. crochet terminology.
The Blue Roses rug is made with richly-textured hexagons created with only basic single crochet stitches. The motifs are joined while crocheting the last round making finishing a breeze!
MATERIALS
- Yarn: Caron Simply Soft Ombre; Aran; 235 yards / 215m per 141g ball; 100% Acrylic; 3 balls in 08701 Teal Zeal
- Hook: US size 7 (4.5 mm)
- Yarn needle to weave in ends
GAUGE
- 1 motif (measured from point to point through the center) = 4¾’’ (12 cm)
FINISHED SIZE
- 23½ x 23½’’ (60 x 60 cm)
