Blue Spruce
Blue Spruce is a top down, long-sleeved pullover with fair isle patterning along the yoke and sleeves. Options for altering the sleeve length and body shape are included within the pattern.
The instructions for the fair isle patterns are charted. Additional charts with no colors are included at the end of the pattern so that if you wish, you may color in the charts to match the yarn you’ve chosen. German short rows are used to shape the neckline before and after the yoke pattern is completed. A link to a German short row tutorial is included in the Abbreviations/Glossary.
There are two shaping options for the body: No shaping or waist shaping with a slight flare to the hips. The pattern is written to include sixteen sizes. The instructions have been separated into two files for ease of pattern reading.
