This pattern is my own design for a knitted top and skirt. It is designed to fit an American Girl doll.

Materials:
• worsted weight yarn (such as Caron Simply Soft) in two colours
• 3.25 mm needles
• 4 buttons (3 for top, 1 for skirt)
• yarn needle
• two stitch holders

Gauge:
approximately 23 stitches = 10 cm / 4 inches using 3.25 mm needles

Techniques/Stitches:
• slip stitches
• long-tail cast-on
