Blue-tiful Earrings is a beginner-friendly crochet pattern. Don’t worry if you are not yet comfortable working with THREAD and a small size hook (1.75-2mm). I recommend beginning your project with the smallest yarn weight and hook size that you ARE comfortable with. Then, work your way down to thread.

This pattern doubles as a lovely lacy-coaster as well!

Finished Sizes
• Curio #10 thread, 1.75mm hook: 2 1/8” x 2 1/8”
• DMC 5 embroidery thread, 1.75mm hook: 2 1/4” x 2 1/4”
• Curio #3 thread, 2.5mm hook: 3 1/2” x 3 1/2”

Materials
• Size 10, Curio Thread from We Crochet in Clarity, Size 3, Curio Thread from We Crochet in Blue, or Size 5 DMC Cotton Pearl Thread in variegated blue
• 1.75mm hook (2.5 mm hook for size 3 thread)
• Small needle for weaving in ends
• 2 fish hook ear-wires
• Aleene’s Stiffen Quik or any other brand clear-drying fabric stiffening spray
• Flat-nosed jewelry pliers

Special Stitches
Double Treble Crochet: Yo 3 times, insert hook into st, yo, pull up loop, yo, pull through 2 4 times.
