Errata: In the written instructions for Chart 3. Row 5 should start: k3, yo, k1, k2tog …

Chart 2 has been corrected in v1.3. In correcting an error from v1.1 to v1.2, I inadvertently used an earlier and incorrect version of chart 2. The written instructions are correct.

A small crescent shaped shawl that is fuzzy and warm for winter. The shawl as shown is 55” wide by 21” deep and used approximately 520 yds of the recommended yarn.

Advanced beginner to intermediate skill level. Simple lace techniques. The pattern includes charts and row-by-row instructions.

Needle: US size 5 (3.75 mm)

Yarn: Recommended: Shibui Silk Cloud or equivalent. However, any weight yarn can be used; yarn choice will affect the shawl size and the yardage needed for the finished shawl. Lighter yarns will produce a more delicate shawl. Fingering and sport weight are good choices.

Gauge: Depends on yarn choice.
