Having been asked many times if my original pattern Bluebell baby blanket in double knit yarn can be knitted in a thicker yarn I decided to re write the pattern.
The centre piece is in Irish Moss stitch and the border in the very pretty Bluebell stitch, also this version has added eyelets for ribbon and is knitted using Aran weight yarn for Autumn/Fall/Winter babies who need a blanket that is a little bit warmer.
An easy and quick baby blanket to knit in baby soft Aran weight yarn.
Requires 3x100gm balls and 1xpair 5.5mm knitting needles.
