Eyes 24mm (plastic safety eyes or glass looped eyes).
Fake eye lashes- I just buy cheap ones from the pound shop.

Crochet Hook
2.50mm


Using this weight yarn and size hook will give you a cow roughly measuring
40cm/16 inches measured from the tip of her horn to her feet,
40cm/ 16 inches from nose to tail.
30cm/12 inches from ear to ear

sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet

If you are planning to make your cow in a heavier weight yarn, adjust your hook size accordingly. Use the smallest hook size possible for the weight of yarn that you are using. We need the stitches tight so the stuffing doesn’t show too much between stitches.
I recommend making a test motif to gauge tension.
