Here’s a pattern that delights in the easy knit with bits of fair isle knitting. You can work the whole pattern in fair isle
Alternatively, you can work pattern in solid color blocks with small bits of fairisle for the checked sections and duplicate stitching for the leaves, berries and snowflakes. Berries can be made with duplicate stitch or french knots.
