If you like this pattern and want to support me in making more patterns for you to enjoy, buy this pattern as a pdf-version. That way you’ll have a nice looking printable version that lasts forever and ever, and I can keep creating patterns to keep you happily crocheting until your hook’s on fire! Like that would stop anyone of us from crocheting, really?! Not! But anyway, you get the picture :-)

I’m hoping you enjoy this pattern!

Size and yarn
This is an example of how mine turned out with the Hobbii Cotton Kings and corresponding hook (3.5 mm). You can vary the size and length however you like depending on the number of repeats and choice of yarn. I’ve also done this with the Scheepjes whirl and it works great too! But feel free to experiment!

The size of my shawl with the Cotton Kings yarn:
Longest side: 132 cm / 52 inches
Short side: 112 cm / 44 inches
Diagonal: 170 cm / 67 inches

Pattern uses the following stitches:
-chain
-single crochet
-double crochet
-front post double crochet
-treble (triple) crochet
-front post treble (triple) crochet
-puff stitch
-chain space

Pattern includes:

  • Written instructions.

  • A chart / diagram

  • Photo tutorial and written instructions for the front post double crochet.

  • Written instructions for the front post double and treble crochet, as well as for the puff stitches. Video is also available that shows how I do my puffs in this pattern: http://www.meandmyyarn.me/puffIG

  • Tips regarding your yarn choice and other “good to know” tips.
