Instructions are given for two different sizes (small and large) and includes suggestions for both beanie and slouchy hat styles, which makes the pattern easy to customize. Both written and charted instructions are provided.
The original sample (first photo) is a size large on a person with a 21.5” circumference head (with a lot of hair!). The same hat fits a male, who has a 24” circumference head, comfortably. The pattern is quite stretchy.
Notions
- Tapestry needle to weave in ends
- 6 stitch markers
Each chart repeat uses two stitch markers. Knitters who can read their own knitting will likely only need 3 stitch markers.
