Blueberry Shawl

This is the double knit version of the original Bilberry Shawl. It is set up differently and has extra rows in places, so it maintains the design but is also a reasonable size.
The sample is made using Debbie Bliss Andes which gives it a lovely drape. I chose a deep blue colour and did not realise until I looked up the code that it is called Blueberry (code no 18), so a very apt name!
This pattern is relatively easy, so it is suitable for a beginner knitter. Increases are by yarn overs, the body has sections of eyelets made by yarn overs and the edging is a simple picot cast off. It is an easy lace design.
The finished size is 145cm by 70cm blocked rigorously.
