This pattern contains a cowl and a pair of matching fingerless mittens.Both garments are easy and quick to knit. The cowl can be worn in three different ways: Folded, with (1st ) the Garter Stitch/Cable-side or (2nd ) the checked side outside, or (3rd) not folded, with both sides outside, as a longer version of a cowl. No matter which way you’ll wear it, it will always stay superwarm!! This pattern contains Garter Stitch, Cables and Stranded Colourwork and is best knit in Aran-Weight-Yarn.
Materials:
1 x 6mm/US 10 circular needle (cowl)/a set of double-pointed needles for making mittens or use the circular needle using magic-loop-methode
1 x Marker for Beginning of round
1 x Tapestry needle (for sewing in yarn-ends)
1 x 5mm/H crochet hook (for thumbs of mittens)
Yarn: Aran – Weight – Yarn. Yarn used in pictures:
Lana Grossa Ragazza Twist (100m/109yds or 50g) in two colours
Cowl: approx. 282m/308yds or 141 grams
Colour 1: 007 (blue) 142m/155yds, Colour 2: 006 (orange) 140m/153yds
Fingerless Mittens: approx. 118m/129yds or 59 grams
Colour 1: 007 (blue) 58m/63yds, Colour 2: 006 (orange) 60m/66yds
Gauge: 14 sts x 36 rows = 10cm x 10cm/4in x 4in in Garter Stitch

Finished Measurements (after blocking):
Cowl: Length: 55cm/ (approx.) 22in Circumference: 60cm/ (approx.) 24in
