Blues in the Wind square pillow decoration consists of octagon motifs which are sewn together with joining motifs: squares, corner triangles and side triangles. A final border is added around entire joined piece.

The pattern can be also used for blankets, coasters and even baubles!

This easy to follow pattern (8 pages) is written for one size (a version for print with no pictures is also included). It contains step by step full written instructions in English using standard crochet abbreviations and US terms (stitch guide is given in the pattern). It also contains lots of pictures explaining all the tricky and difficult places. The pattern contains a Print-Friendly copy with no picture

Crochet level: Intermediate (front post stitches)

Materials:

• Sport/DK yarn in 4 colors.
• Crochet hook 4mm (G) or the size that will give an acceptable gauge.
• Scissors and Tapestry needle to weave the ends in.
• Ready fabric pillow case

Size: The size of the finished square decoration depends on the yarn and hook you use. My square is approx. 50cm (20in) large.
