Blythe Cap
Halfway down the hill a tall lad came whistling out of a gate before the Blythe homestead. It was Gilbert, and the whistle died on his lips as he recognized Anne. He lifted his cap courteously, but he would have passed on in silence, if Anne had not stopped and held out her hand… “We’re going to be the best of friends,” said Gilbert jubilantly. “We were born to be good friends, Anne. You’ve thwarted destiny long enough.”
Blythe Cap is the fourth pattern in the Green Gables Collection of patterns inspired by the books by L.M. Montgomery and the stories of Anne. At the end of the first book, Anne of Green Gables, Anne and Gilbert Blythe finally make amends for their long-standing feud throughout the book and agree to be friends from here on out. Likewise, the Blythe Cap includes two sizes of the hat, which makes it the perfect pattern for sharing with your partner or best friend. Blythe Cap also matches the Cuthbert Cowl and makes a great set together.
