Blythe's Crochet Hat A Midsummer Night's Dream
This midsummer night hat is perfect for Blythe!
It’s a great hat to crochet. It’s a fairly easy but elegant model and a perfect Blythe fit. The pattern witholds instructions to make this hat larger or smaller.
Maybe even to make a matching hat for yourself?
The flower is knit, so knitting skills come in handy!
Required materials:
- Cotton (or raffia or bamboo or silk) 0.35 – 0.70 ounces 10 – 20 grams approx. 437 yards on 3.53 ounces ( 400 meters on 100 grams). For the hat in the picture, I’ve used “DMC 10” in Beige.
- Crochet hook, US B/1, 2.25 mm / UK 13ize needed for gauge or yarn)
- 2 knitting needles size 2mm (or size needed for gauge or yarn) for the flower
- Miniature lace, approx. 5.5” (14 cm) length, width approx. 0.5” (11 mm)
- Miniature button or bead (for center of flower)
- Scissors
- Needle & thread
