This beginner’s pattern is for men’s basic toe up socks in 4 sizes, using circular needles, fingering(4ply) yarn and can be knitted Two-At-a-Time (2AAT). The full gusset will fit almost all men’s feet, including high rise insteps. Measurements are in both metric and inches.

Instructions include choosing correct size, and adjusting for foot length. An easy-to-make heel flap is created, and the heel turn method eliminates all holes around the flap. The stitch pattern is a simple, elegant rib, but stocking stitch can be used.
