BoardGame Socks
BoardGame Socks is a charted toe-up sock pattern knitted on two circular needles. A simple pattern with 2 cables, these socks are great for beginning/intermediate knitters who want to try easy left and right cables.
For those of us who have played the board game “Chutes & Ladders”, from which this pattern takes itsinspiration, I hope these socks bring forth happy childhood memories of ‘sliding down chutes’ and
‘climbing up ladders’!
The gauge is 8 sts/in in Stockinette stitch and 9-10 sts/in in the pattern.
Sample socks were knitted with Knit Picks yarn:
- Hawthorne in Sunnyside
- Stroll Tweed in Barn Door Heather
- Stroll Tonal in Pearlescent
- Stroll Bare in hand-dyed purple/mauve
