Boarding Pass
With a simple and interesting stitch pattern, these socks are an excellent travel companion. Toe-up construction accented by a handsome seed and slip stitch pattern on the front and a smart seam up the back. A great pattern for any color, including variegated, ombré or speckled yarns.
This pattern includes a convenient instruction-only download, sized for easy viewing on mobile devices.

Also provided are detailed instructions to customize the fit of your sock if you have curvier calves.
Sizes: 1 (2), 8”(9”) 20, (23) cm foot circumference taken around the ball of foot.
Gauge: 8 stitches and 12 rows per 1” 2.5 cm after blocking.
Needles used: US size 1 (2.25 mm) (or size needed to get gauge): double pointed, two circulars, or one long circular for magic loop.
Yarn: 400 yards (or more if you want longer, knee length socks) fingering weight wool sock yarn.
Yarn used in sample: one set Ombré Sock Duo by Alexcreates, hand-dyed merino sock yarn, 420yd total or 210yd in each mini skein, Skyline colorway.
Notions: 12 stitch markers (for two at a time, 6 for one at a time), locking stitch markers, tapestry needle.
