Alternating Spike Stitch is another in the family of ever-so-useful crochet stitches. Here, a hand-dyed yarn is worked on changing stitch counts for an ultra-feminine shaped jacket and pencil skirt. While the patterning changes as the stitch counts do, there is enough randomizing to work visually. The skirt is made from fine sock-weight wool, while the coordinating jacket is a thicker dk weight.
