Boat Neck Sweater
This is a simple and quick knit with a couple of interesting details.
The hems and collar are in a slipped stitch pattern that gives a dressier look than rib but still has a firm edge.
The collar is sewn on at the end and is an ideal opportunity to show off a special button.
The yarn I used is a lightweight chunky, hence the needle size, and is more like 8 wraps per inch than 7.
The sweater is designed with waist shaping and negative or no ease for a fitted look, if you prefer a more relaxed fit leave out the waist shaping or go up a size.
This pattern is an update of Mohair Boat Neck, with a more readily available yarn and long sleeves. If you have already purchased Mohair Boat Neck leave a message and I will send you the updates.
