Gauge is not critical for this project, but choose a suitable hook for the weight of yarn you use.

Using the yarn and hook above the finished bag measured 15 inches across the widest part of the body when laid flat and 10 and a half inches in height from the centre of the base to the top of the bag body.

This pattern comes with a free copy of the Picot-Picot Flower pattern which requires different materials and hook (4 Ply and 3mm).
