Boba Bag
DESCRIPTION
If you like amigurumi the Boba Bag is the make for you. I designed this bag for my granddaughter. She loves squishmellow characters and bubble tea. I combined these two ideas to come up with this bag design.
It is made using double strands of #4 medium weight yarn. I used cotton from my stash but other yarns will work as long as your substitute isn’t to soft and stretchy. I worked my colours together for an ombre effect but it can be made in one colour or yarns that are ombre already.
If you are looking for a compliment to this bag for a fun summer set pair it up with the Bucket of Happiness Hat (pattern sold separately).
The Boba Bag can be a water bottle holder, a phone bag or a small purse. Regardless of how you use it, it will add a little fun in your life.
Level - Beginner #4
The pattern is crocheted in continuous rounds using combinations of single and half double crochet. My version requires colour changes.
Techniques
The i-cord technique is used for the strap and the straw. Picture tutorials are included in the pattern.
