It uses two colors yarn, the main color is used in the cross stitches while the contrast color makes up the bobbles.

The beanie band fits snugly while the body of the hat is oversized a bit to give it a slouchy appearance.

The elongated stitches and bobbles make this hat light, even though it is knit with bulky yarn.

Main Color uses more yardage than contrast color. 150 yards of each color will be plenty for the hat, even in adult size.
