.This is a toddler-sized hat that should fit up to age 2-3, however the stitch is fairly stretchy and all heads vary. The hat measures 18cms from crown to the edge of the rib when laid flat. It has been designed to fit around the child’s brow line and cover their ears.

Size adjustments can be made by increasing the size of the hooks by 0.5mm and adding rows to the main body, the rib or both. If you fancy one yourself you can easily make this hat to fit an adult.

You just need 100g of any Aran weight yarn, plus a small amount in a contrasting colour for the pom pom.

This pattern uses a 6.5mm hook for the main body, and a 5mm hook for the rib section.

This pattern is suitable for an intermediate crocheter, or a beginner who is up for a challenge!
