Bobble Hearts
The BOBBLE HEARTS Crochet Blanket is an easy pattern that makes a classy and elegant blanket with a beautiful texture!
The PDF pattern includes a detailed 19-page tutorial with 60+ step-by-step photos to walk you through and show you exactly where to place your hook and stitch. The pattern includes instructions to make it ANY SIZE! The images are beneficial for a visual learner to make sure the stitch pattern looks right. It reads like a friend explaining how to make the blanket. The stitches used to make the blanket are: Chain, Single Crochet, and Bobble Stitch. A chart is included in the pattern for UK/AUS and includes crochet terms, yarn weights, and hook sizes. The photo tutorial can be viewed on your monitor or printed off. I make my patterns easy to understand to avoid the confusion of reading traditional patterns. I am specific and detailed in clarifying areas that can be tricky and give tips along the way. Crochet Chart included. The design is in US terms.
If you are like me, you choose a blanket by the stitch/pattern first and not the size. Did you ever see a stitch you Love, but the pattern is for a baby blanket? Not a problem here. All of my designs include the pattern repeat so that you can make it ANY size.
The blanket Measures 44” wide x 50” long (111 cm x 127 cm). I used Red Heart Super Saver Worsted (4) weight yarn in color Aran and Yarn Bee Soft & Sleek Hot Pink and Red. I used one skein of red, 2 skeins of pink each color, each of these skeins were 6 oz. and 3 skeins of the red heart super saver yarn (8 oz. skeins). The finished blanket weighed approximately 40 ounces. I used a “J-10/5mm” hook (Recommended hook on the label)
