Yarn: Chunky weight yarn.
Main Color 1>700(800,900,1000) g / 24.5(28,31.5,35) oz
875(900,1125,1250) meters / 960(1100,1240,1370) yds
Color 2> 200(200,300,300) g / 7(7,10.5,10.5) oz,
250(250,375,375) meters / 280(280,420,420) yds
I have used Mondial Bio Soft: 100% cotton, 100g=140m/3.5oz=153yards. Katia Maxi Merino: 52%wool and 48% acrylic, 100g=125mm/3.5oz=169yards.
Other suggestions> Bernard Velvet, Cascade 128 Superwash, Sirdar Aura Chunky, Lion Brand Wool-Ease Tonal, Bergere de France Merinos Alpaca, King Cole Chunky Tweed, King Cole Mangnum Chunky, Malabrigo Chunky, Rowan Cocoon.
Crochet hook 7mm/K/10.5 (or any size to obtain the gauge, explained below).
