Bobble Pop Crossbody
This pattern came about because I take a backpack as my “purse” to work most days and I stuff it full of yarn, books, snacks, etc. When it comes to the weekend and running to the grocery store or out on an adventure, I didn’t want to lug around that giant bag. I wanted a light little bag that held my wallet, phone, and a few extras like lip balm. That’s how the Bobble Pop Crossbody was born! A useful accessory with an intense pop of texture to brighten up your outfit. In solid colors it’s a nice subtle addition…and with a variegated yarn it’s an explosion of color and fun!
It works with many different yarn options, therefore size will vary slightly, but tests from different crocheters measured 7.5-9” wide and 9-10” tall. This should fit even larger clutch wallets with ease.
Uses less than a skein of the listed Bernat yarns such as Home Dec, and uses two skeins of most cottons like Sugar & Cream. As written with the D-rings sewn in, it’s easy to swap out a strap and have a different purse for every season!
