Bobble Shmobble Shawl
I wrote this pattern for myself to use up my very first handspun yarns. I decided I loved this shawl so much, it would be simple to type up and share. I hope you enjoy knitting it, and find freedom to use or showcase your thick and thin, maybe more artsy yarns that you love, but don’t know what to do with them. I grounded the fun with some sensible neutrals, and I think it turned out really well. This is not for those who get hot easily!!! This shawl is for those of us who tend to the reptilian cold blooded nature, needing external warmth to get us through the cold months of the year (even though we’d rather hibernate through it all!).

Suggested yarns:
Please see these as very loose suggestions. You can knit this pattern with any yarn with any gauge or needles that you like to get the drape you like. You are basically knitting a triangle, and growing it to the size you would like for it to be. Don’t see this as a pattern to stress over gauge, but grab whatever yarn you’ve got the most of and have fun playing with color!
MC-Knit Picks Simply Wool Bulky (Colorways Wendy) (I used less than 3 100 g balls.)
CC1-I used some of my very first handspun (which I dyed using Wilton’s food coloring) which turned out to be a thick/thin yarn, from a non-superwash merino wool. I did not measure how much I ended up using, but I think I had about 50g in each color, possibly a little more on some of the colors used, and I used about 4 and did some mixing and matching. Sorry I can’t be more precise than that!
CC2-Plymouth Yarn Viento, medium fawn (I originally used a different, unknown yarn, but I went to my LYS and the owner helped me find a bulky in the same color, and this is what we found there. I believe it was a 50g skein, but I am not sure. You will probably need less 2 of the 50g skeins.)
