I made this pattern with the intention of knitting a pair of socks that would really make hand-dyed yarn sing. These socks knit up surprisingly quickly and make for a very satisfying knit. They are knitted toe-up and have a picot edge cuff.

Size
To fit 18 (20, 23, 26) cm / 7 (8, 9, 10 1/4) inches circumference at ball of foot.

Yarn
260 - 380 metres / 284 -415 yards of Countess Ablaze Lady Persephone Sock Yarn or similar sock yarn. I used 280 metres / 306 yards of Countess Ablaze Lady Persephone Sock Yarn in the colourway ‘The New Normal’ to knit size 2.

Gauge
28 stitches x 44 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches in stockinette stitch on 2.25 mm needles after blocking
