ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS AFTER BLOCKING
Flat width (just below armhole) - 40, (50, 60) cm / 15 ¾, (19 ¾, 23 ¾) ins.
Length (from top of the shoulder) - 48 cm / 19 ins.
Armhole width - 22 cm/ 8 ¾ ins.
GAUGE (Tension): 17 sts and 23 rows = 10 cm (4 ins), measured over stockinette st pattern, (garment being blocked), using 5.5 mm (US 9) needle.
NB Needle size is only a guide - if you get too many stitches for 10 cm, take a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches for 10 cm, take a smaller needle
size. It’s very important to check your gauge (tension) before starting as working to the wrong tension will mean your garment won’t be size shown.
