Inspired by and adapted from the Bobbling Along Aran Tote by Celeste Young, with kind permission of the author.
This pattern creates a very thick, cushiony fabric to cover your laptop; the bobbles, popcorns, and double-thick cables act just like bubble wrap to absorb minor bumps and shocks.
I chose an acrylic yarn because it’s durable and washable; a cotton or wool-acrylic blend yarn also would work well.
While I chose not to, you could add a synthetic oilcloth liner to make the sleeve water-resistant.
The fantastic buttons are handmade from oak branches by Jay Beesmer at Wooden Treasures.
