Pattern Description:

Wings of Victory! Let the Bobbley shawl be your next knitting adventure!

The shawl is a sampling of many knitting stitches and techniques such as bobbles, yarn overs, mesh lace, seed stitch, colorwork with two colors of yarn and an assortment of decreases and increases. There are videos to watch on how to purl backwards while making the bobbles.

It’s like knitting your way through a field of flowers with the joyfully saturated colors of and subtle textures of Baah La Jolla and Noro Kashirukuru. The Bobbley shawl begins with a bobble edged triangle and encounters many pattern twists and design turns before meandering down the colorwork tapered end point.

Keep it stylishly in place with JUL Designs Women’s Worth Single-Wrap, Double-Snap Cuff.

Knit for a Cure:
20% of the profits from each Bobbley Boobley pattern sold will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Association and the Foundation of Women’s Health (gynecologic cancer).

Gauge Notes:
• 20 sts to 4” = 5 sts to 1” in stockinette stitch (knit one row, purl one row) with size 7 needles with La Jolla (A).

Yardage Note: Depending on the thickness of the Kashirukuru hank – 1 ball of Kashirukuru may be enough to complete the shawl, but not always. I have knit 3 shawls and 2 out of the 3 times I had enough Kashirukuru -only once did I need just a bit of the second ball. Some knitters have chosen to stop the colorwork where the ball ran out, otherwise there are many cowl pattern options to use with the leftover Kashirukuru.
