This cosy dog jumper is knitted with an Aran weight yarn and a pair of 5mm knitting needles, in a “V” shape, starting at the “tail-end” of the back and ending with the collar, all in one piece.

The front is worked by picking up stitches from the shoulder edges of back and also worked in a “V” shape.

The pattern is garter stitch (every row knit) with a purlwise slipped stitch on the wrong side row at regular intervals to form the “ribs”.
