Bock Bock, I'm a Chicken!

Adapted from Rowan’s Esther, Ernie and Enid Easter Chickens. This pattern is really cute, but I just hate seaming. I looked at the picture and this is my version in the round.
These are very basic instructions for knitting a chicken. If you want a larger chicken cast on more stitches, and knit more straight rows in between your decrease rows for the base and the chicken body. Each of my chickens are different. I usually don’t count rows or stitches, I just look at it and decide if it is time for a decrease row. If you mirror your decreases, your chicken won’t be lopsided.
The tail is a great place to use up your scrap yarn. You don’t need much (a yard or two) and the more colorful the better!
Just have fun!
