This Dragonpine Designs pattern was designed by Patti-Ann Williamson.

This pattern has clearly-written, detailed instructions for three sizes: small (fits child shoe sizes 2-5 or a US women’s sizes 4-6), medium (child 5-7, women 7-9, men 6-8), and large (women 10-12, men 9-12).

There are also three different options for style of bootie: a single colour with garter stitch cuff, a two-colour with garter stitch cuff, and a single colour with a folded ribbed cuff. These can be mixed and matched to create your favourite combination in a bootie! The number of meters of yarn required for each part of the bootie are as given:
Sole 60 (65, 70) meters
Instep 50 (60, 65) meters
Garter Cuff 20 (30, 35) meters OR
Ribbed Cuff 40 (60, 75) meters
Simply add up the number of meters for your size in each choice, and that gives you the total number of meters of yarn required for that size. You can even make a three-coloured bootie if it suits your fancy!

These booties are generously-sized, so if you are on the border of a size, choose the smaller size.
