Fall 2020 Designer Collection

This Fall capsule collection by Lana Jois is full of texture: squishable rib going horizontally, vertically, and even diagonally (!), the drape of linen, and the contrast in gauzy mohair and lustrous silk. Join us in celebrating the beautiful designs by Lana Jois - neutrals or bright colors will flatter these dimensional fabrics equally well!

Playing with yarn weight - of fingering weight Fino and laceweight Cabrito - and wide ribs creates a lightly pleated effect in this simple oblong wrap.

MATERIALS
Manos del Uruguay FINO (70% extrafine merino wool, 30% silk; approx. 490 yds/100 g): 2 sks MC.
Manos del Uruguay CABRITO (80% kid mohair, 20% polyamide; approx. 230 yds/25 g): 2 sks CC.

US 6/4mm 24” circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge

GAUGE
24 sts and 30 rows = 4”/10cm in St st using Fino.

NOTES
This project is worked in alternating stripes of reverse stockinette using CC and rib patterns using MC.
