Join our Crochet-Along for our fabulous Boho Beach Bag made using overlay mosaic crochet techniques.

Six pattern parts will be released on: 6, 13, 20 & 27 July and 3 & 10 August with a final complete pattern at the end of the CAL. Part One includes a tutorial, charts and pattern which can be printed separately as needed. The patterns will be updated weekly.

Mosaic crochet is an easy colourwork technique that only uses one colour in each row. Usually worked with the right side facing, the yarn is cut at the end of every row which results in a LOT of ends! This design carries the yarns and works the mosaic from both the right side and wrong side. We have developed a new method if carrying which gives a clean, cabled effect to the edge and can be modified to give a decorative scalloped edge where desired.

The yarn quantity is based on one ball of each of 13 colours but will not use all of the yarn up. The design uses almost all of the yarn with only oddments left so different tension will affect yarn usage
