This is quickly going to become my go-to basket pattern! I have been searching for a 1 skein basket project and it’s been so hard, so I decided to take some time and make one! Most basket patterns require you to use two strands held together to obtain structure, but after a lot of tweaking I made it so this basket could still have structural integrity while only using one strand of yarn. This pattern altogether requires about 90 yards of yarn and Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick has 106 yards, which means you can make a monotone basket with only one skein of yarn! (Or a dual-toned basket with part of a skein and some scrap yarn!)

Materials:
Size J/ 6mm hook
80 yards of Color A yarn
10 yards of Color B yarn
Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick (or any other category 6 super bulky yarn)
Tapestry Needle
Scissors
