This prayer shawl feels just like a warm hug from your favorite Grandma. Soft, warm and slightly weighted due to the bulky yarn used you can crochet this pretty and traditional style granny shawl in about 3 hours. The pattern is beginner friendly and a simple stress-free project to make.

I love the yarn I chose to make this project but if it is unavailable to you, please feel free to substitute a different bulky weight yarn or even 2 strands of medium weight yarn when you crochet this project. If you want a bigger shawl you can make it larger by following the pattern repeat until you reach the height and width you want (super easy!) or you can work less repeats for a shorter granny scarf perfect for wintertime.

The fringe adds an additional 19 inches in width and an additional 9.5 inches in length. 87 inches wide and 34.5 inches tall.
