You will need worsted weight yarn and a 4.0mm or 5.0mm crochet hook. Around 250-300 yards needed (it was an unmarked skein in my stash, so I don’t know how much yarn exactly)

Gauge: Small granny square measures 2x2 inches (5x5cm) when made with 4.0mm crochet hook and 2.5 x 2.5 inches (6.5x6.5cm) when made with a 5.0mm crochet hook. Large granny square measures 4x4 inches (10x10cm) when made with 4.0mm crochet hook and 5x5 (13x13cm)inches when made with a 5.0mm.

Small size (4.0mm crochet hook) measures 4.5 inches at the cuff (ankle) and the calf measures 6.5 inches around. (11cm at cuff and 16.5cm at calf)

Large size (5.0mm crochet hook) measures 5 inches at the cuff and 6.75 inches at the calf. (12.5cm at cuff and almost 17cm at calf)
