I came up with these sanitizer slings because I was tired of the bottle taking up so much room in my purse. It is very handy hanging in the holster, especially when shopping or eating out. It’s made with 100% cotton, so it is easily washable and very durable. I created a version using a clip and one without, for those who may not be able to find the clips.
Supplies Needed:
-Approx. 50-75 yards of size 4 ww cotton or size 3 DK weight cotton
-Size F 3.75 mm hook (or size needed to obtain gauge)
-Small 10 or 12 mm wooden bead with large central hole
-3 oz. rectangular bottle of hand sanitizer (you will want to try it on as you go. I used Equate brand at Walmart)
-Swivel/Snap Hook 1.5” (37 mm) in size (optional. For clip-on version pictured above on right. I purchased mine from Hobby Lobby in their purse findings section near the sewing and purse notions.)
-Sew-on snap closure (optional. For clip-on version also). You will also need a needle and thread
-scissors, yarn needle, tape measure, stitch marker, any embellishments of choice
