The wave pattern for this summer cardigan is crocheted sideways, which creates a fun feature at the back.

You can either crochet with a hooksize 8, or use a hooksize 6 with the same DK yarn for a warmer and slightly shorter version.

NB: The fabric stretches somewhat lengthwise (it depends on your yarn weight whether it will pull down a lot and also on the shape of your body), this means that when you have a small size normally the cardigan will be slightly longer than the given measurements. (If you are a small person with a small size, it is best to do only 7 repeats, since the fabric can stretch up to an extra 12 cm/ 4.7”) And when you have a larger size, it will be about the same as when you measure the cardigan on a flat surface.
Width 99 cm/39” (since the fabric stretches a lot, it will fit a small bust size and up to about a bust size of about 120 cm/47 inch.

When using a hook size 6 and doing only 7 repeats, the length of the cardigan will be approximately 71 cm/28 inch.
