It’s finally everyone’s favorite time for soaking up the sun, playing in the waves, and dreaming under the stars: SUMMER. I’m always so excited to break out my shorts and tank tops when the warmer months arrive, and I’m always on the lookout for the perfect jewelry to wear on all my adventures! This adorable crochet necklace would be a great accessory to wear on your next trip to the beach, farmer’s market, or anywhere you plan to enjoy these carefree summer days.

My Boho Summer Necklace design takes very little time to create and is perfect for crocheters of all skill levels. It would be a great activity when you need to take a break from a larger project, or for keeping your kids busy while they’re out of school. The best part is that you won’t need any metal findings, which can be expensive and sometimes irritate sensitive skin, because this necklace is made completely out of--you guessed it--yarn!!

The yarn I chose for this project is 24/7 Cotton by Lion Brand Yarn, and you should be able to make about 8-10 of these necklaces from ONE skein! When I first got my hands on this incredible stuff, I wasn’t sure how I felt about it, but as soon as I started working with it I immediately fell in love! It’s soft and sleek, drapes nicely, and is nice and strong for long-term wear. It’s also extremely affordable for such a high-quality fiber, and I would highly recommend it to anyone for any project!

Materials Needed:

• Approx 18-20 yards Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton, or other worsted weight yarn
• US size E - 3.5mm crochet hook
• Yarn Needle
• Scissors
