I designed this towel ring when I was searching for a towel ring with a modern look and I couldn’t find one. It is very easy and quick to make. I have included a YouTube video to help with the most difficult portions of the pattern and is linked throughout.
Supplies Needed:
- 3” (70 mm) wooden ring (I bought mine from Hobby Lobby, but you can find them on Amazon).
- Approx. 40-50 yards of Bernat Home Maker Dec yarn or any size 5 bulky weight yarn. You could also sub in double strands of ww cotton, or another size 5 bulky weight yarn like Lion Brand Rewind Tape.
- 1 18 mm wooden bead
- Crochet hook of your choice. (I used a size J 6.0 mm for the body and an F 3.75 mm hook to add the bead and weave in tails)
- Small button for closure method. Mine was around 3/4” in size
- Scissors, measuring tape and yarn needle, and fabric glue (optional)
