This pattern allows you to create your very own Bold Jumping Spider. Here is what you need to know:

Skill level: Intermediate

Terms: US

Size: 6” wide and long, when using #4 worsted acrylic yarn and a 4 mm hook (There is a chart for selecting other weights/hooks, which will give you larger or smaller spiders.)

Yarn: Approx. 60 yards of each color: (Body: black), (Accents: white, silver, yellow, or orange), (Chelicerae/Jaws: green or blue)

Hook: 4mm or whatever keeps the tension

Notions and Tools: Poly-fil stuffing (small fist full), Pipe cleaners (4), Eyes (safety eyes in sizes: 2 of 6mm, 4 of 8mm, and 2 of 10mm; or you can sew/glue/needle felt eyes), Yarn or Tapestry Needle, Stitch Markers, Hot Glue (optional, for gluing pieces/eyes, and for sealing ends of pipe cleaners)

Stitches used: blo, dec, flo, inc, MC, sc, sc3tog, sl st
